Application
Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) system pipes in the "Aqua" and "Supra" product
series are approved by the German Water and Gas Board for the transport of potable
water.
The Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) system pipes are suitable for transporting
hot water up to a temperature of 95°C. The Aqua Twin design provides an additional
benefit of having a main line and a circulation line inside one jacket pipe. Typical
applications are to be found in individual connections but also for connecting several
buildings.
The Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) Supra medium pipe made of HDPE is suitable
for water of up to approximately 20°C (at 16 bar) or 40°C (at 10 bar).
An optionally available frost-proof cable allows the Supra pipe to be used wherever
water must be transported protected from frost.
A whole range of applications are possible - from supplying water to your holiday
home or for connections to stables in an agricultural site up to special solutions
such as transporting water in areas of permanent frost.

Heating Water
Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) offers "Thermo Single"
and "Thermo Twin" for transporting heating water
of up to 95°C flow temperature.
The range of performance covers approximately 10 to 2500 kW. The Uponor Pre-insulated
pipe (Ecoflex) field of applications includes quick and easy connections to neighbouring
buildings up to the complete construction of a local heating network.

Cooling Water
As Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) Supra,
is well suited for transporting medium temperatures of -10°C up to 20°C, it can
be used in cooling water networks.
An example for quick and easy installation can be seen here in the "Four Seasons
Resort" a complex of holiday apartments in Costa Rica.
The main pipe is practically "endless". When it has been installed, the individual
T-connections are made to each of the lodges.

Transport of Sewage
Uponor Pre-insulated pipe (Ecoflex) Supra and
an optional frost-proof cable allow the transport of many types of sewage under
frost-proof conditions direct to the waste water treatment plant or in the plant
itself.
The high-grade medium pipe made of HDPE in the dimensions 25 - 110 is suited for
a whole range of applications.

Transport of foodstuffs and chemicals
